Squirrel Pole

I got to do one of my favorite things all day today! That is hang out with Boy Scouts!

About 200 of them game to Jack's Valley and braved the cold. I worked the station teaching how to do snares. This particular one is designed to catch squirrels that are going up a tree. It is great to see the teamwork, excitement, and learning that scouts gives to youth. It doesn't seem like long ago that I was in their shoes.
