Birthday Cards and Gifts

I don't really like birthdays that fall on a Sunday as I don't get to experience the excitement of a pile of birthday cards being pushed through the letterbox and landing with a thud on the doormat. However, my friends and family have been pretty organised this year and I had a fair few cards and presents to open on the day. Social media and email also played its part in making my day special as I received loads of Birthday wishes from friends on Facebook, Twitter and, of course, Blipfoto. I also got special greetings from Richard Osman (Pointless), Marcus Bentley (Big Brother) and my lovely friend Stevyn (the Qi elf). So all in all my birthday season got started very well indeed!
