Derby Museum and Art Gallery

The Art Gallery here houses a collection of paintings by Joseph Wright, including 'A Philosopher lecturing on the Orrery.' I didn't have time to go in to explore today, so will look forward to that on a future visit. I have happy memories of visits here as a boy, to go to the Central Library - one of the great attractions was a very elaborate model railway layout!
