Water windmill

Used of old to regulate the level of water in the polder, land that is separated from the river by a dike. I did a lovely walk today in my most favourite area, not too far from home. I was in luck, there was (with one exception) no one else around, so I had a very quiet walk, enjoying the sound of the wind and the geese, both of which were plenty around.
