Eye of Ned

Just outside our back window, the snowbank is a busy table for feathered and furry creatures trying to survive this extraordinarily cruel winter. We help out and are repaid a thousand times over with a chance to view them so closely. A chance to appreciate their fine feathers and the colors, the texture of their fur and the brightness of their eyes.My squirrel friend Ned has been very happy this morning with his delicious peanuts.

I'm being plucked somehow from a snowbank at then end of the driveway drifts soon to go out to lunch and a fun afternoon with my old camp pals.

For the Record,
This day came in cold and sunny. A new storm will enter the area this evening, more snow and freezing rain, followed by a warm up and cool down...more misery.

All hands healing.
