Action

At last. Action - at least of a preliminary type. Double and illegally parked cars on Leith Walk issued with warning notices about enforcement from next week. I await the arrival of the Council truck to remove vehicles constituting an obstruction with anticipation.

As I cycled on up the hill, a taxi pulled over in the bike lane in front of me; the driver put on his "I can park anywhere" lights, got out and locked his cab. I gave him a piece of my mind as I cycled past. Funnily enough, it was outside the same Greggs that seemed to be interesting the policeman last week. I shouldn't let myself get so wound up, but it's hard not to.
