Catkins

We had one of those weird weather days again - lots of blue sky and sunshine and lots of swift showers.  

When we got back from the canteen at lunchtime, the sun had been shining and because the windows were shut, our office was like an oven.  35.5°C according to my little weather station.

Opened the windows for 15 minutes and it was back down to 22.  Much nicer.

And I discovered something very geeky and techy today that has delighted me.  What's more, I know how to develop it now and I have a good few plans for using it.  I see Brownie Points coming my way.

When the wind blows, these catkins release a lot of what I assume to be pollen.  Like little clouds.
