Mega Horse ...

Sometimes you read something in the newspaper, which gives you an inspiration for a daily blip. Happened to me this morning. I read the article, took my camera and the subway to Rotterdam Central Station to make a picture of that particular art subject. 

In the hall of the station are big screens presenting all day advertisements. One of the advertisements was about the  musical War Horse with some pictures. I waited until the mega horse and the advertisement were visible at the same moment.

In the hall of Rotterdam Central Station a gigantic horse was built from waste yesterday afternoon. This waste horse is a promotional stunt for the musical War Horse in which a horse is playing the lead role.

The performance is tomorrow in the new Luxor theater. It is the second time the famous musical can be seen in Rotterdam.

A group of artists, De Bende (the Gang) built the four-meter high animal of timber, branches, plastic and metal.

They received a spontaneous applause from the passengers.
