Hatfield Forest

Hatfield Forest was established by Henry I in 1100 and is still home to descendants of the original fallow deer and numerous ancient trees.
We enjoyed a stroll around today in glorious sunshine, after Peter's appointment at the fracture clinic. Good news there: the sling has gone and he can start to play his double bass again. Rugby refereeing is still off for a while but he's on the mend and can go back to work.
It's Lauren's 16th birthday today so we had her favourite dinner (seared tuna) and champagne. More celebrations at the weekend and a party in the holidays :-/
