Director's commentary
This image had to be cropped to remove my fingers holding the helicopter model by its tail. I was trying to recreate that classic war movie sequence where the survivor is collected by helicopter and flown away from the battlefield. Bestlockdude's survival was by no means guaranteed when creating this series, one ending saw him killed at the last minute before rescue. However I thought that if he survived it would give scope for his appearance in future plots.
