which have survived - sleet, snow, ice, rain - all the elements of winter weather - i went trudging through - snow today with 1 thing - on my mind - pink - hoping beyond hope - that i might find some - buried amidst the recent - bad storms we've had lately - for a while all i saw - was the sheer white of - ice and snow - cracking under foot - until i saw a small - alcove filled with a little bush - with these still pink leaves - giving me much delight - putting joy into my step - and most certainly turning it into...
