South Vietnam meets North Vietnam

This is where the old border between North Vietnam and South Vietnam lies. This is the flag pole of the North just beyond where the 17th parallel lay on the river dividing the two. The South had a similar flag pole on their side of the river which has unsurprisingly now been removed. The bridge connecting the two is painted in blue on the North until the 17th parallel where it changes to yellow for the rest of the way to the South.
