and so it starts...

Our first visit to a potential university for the eldest child...and our/my first step forward on the journey of enabling the children to leave home. It was to Durham, a beautiful small city university that totally captivated my child. Maybe it was the sense of history, maybe the fact that it was sport's afternoon and the river was buzzing with rowers (her sport), maybe it was the college system and all their traditions that took her fancy, maybe it was the strength of the university's Business School (her chosen subject) or maybe it was because scenes from Harry Potter where inspired by the place. Maybe it was the complete package? She is completely enamoured though! Now to get the grades!
