Northwest to Kentmere

Today's the day ................................ to lunch with a friend

I set forth from my house today with my pacerpoles - to see how far I could get. It was very hot and the only other creatures out at the same time were either mad dogs or Englishmen.

About half way round, I realised that I was very near to my friend Valerie's house, so I decided to go and pay her a visit. Being the kind-hearted and generous person that she is, it wasn't long before she was making lunch and inviting me to join her - and of course I was delighted to accept.
