Memories (1): Megapixel

I have reserved some time over the coming days to clear out the cellar and will share some items found. This camera marked my first steps from film to digital photography in May 1999, with 1.3 megapixels !
An easy going Kodak camera with zoom and a switch on the back allowing 4 positions (Capture, Review, Connect and Setup).

Funny to see view the first shots on a modern notebook, looking extremely tiny. The standard resolution was only 480x640 pixels and the maximum 1280*960 pixels. It was good fun then (and still today) to be able to view the shots immediately and share them with the family by email.

I was tempted to take a next blip with this camera, but can’t find any longer a CompactFlash card nor the adapter/cable for transferring them.

Which was your first digital cam ?
