Edge of Eden

Track through the hills at Murton. These are the hills that rise from the Eden Valley to the high fells of the North Pennines. Lots of geology here, but I’m not going to try and explain it. All I can be sure of is that you can see in the distance the limestone crags of Murton Crag and Delfekirk Scar. I know this as I read it on an information board that has appeared in the car park!

A beautiful day today and, once the wind dropped, the sun actually felt warm.
