Peoples Park Halifax

Today I walk around Peoples park something i cant remember ever doing and i have lived in Halifax all my life !
 People's Park is a small  public park of around 5.5 hectares laid out in 1856 by Sir Joseph Paxton and Edward Milner and opened in 1857. It was donated by the local manufacturer Sir Francis Crossley. After a period of decline the park has (from undergone restoration.
It was very peaceful and tranquil with the few people there enjoying the winter sun and feeding the ducks .
