Finally

I have been waiting for this little spring flower to open fully for a while.  I guess it knew the time..when it was sunny and very warm!  It is loving the heat!

Still working the manual mode.   Shooting a bright yellow flower in bright sunlight  was a good test of learning how much opening or how fast to let the light it but I kept adjusting until I got a some decent shots. But when the sun slipped behind a cloud, I got this shot, which ended up being my favorite.
