Skullduggery

Me and Sammy were making a den in the wood , as we cleared away some of the dead leaves we came across this skull. By the shape of the beak I guessed it was an owl and there are Tawny Owls in the wood. We did a little search on t'internet (is there anything you can't find?) and came across a site www.skullsite.com where we found a picture that matched, except ours doesn't have the lower mandible, it is a Tawny Owl.
We have put it in Grandad's box of treasures with the bird feathers etc. that we find on our walks.
It could have gone in Nannies box for Halloween spells! When shall we three meet again? Which reminds me, a couple of days ago we found a dead Long eared bat, amazing ears, I did take a photo but thought better of blipping it.
