Glasses

I've spent a lot of time in the kitchen tonight - tea has been produced twice, and possibly once more.  Hence  a photo of a shelf of glasses looking upwards with a bit of fiddling with the colour.

The reason for the intense kitchen experience is that (with a family of five) the leftovers of delicious meals worth keeping, are only ever one or two portions and never enough for the whole family.  So I try to have an eating- up meal every couple of weeks.

Tonight it was chicken pesto pasta (leftover cream and pesto and pasta for one), for Sam.  Chicken tikka masalla (using up the rest of that packet of chicken with a jar of cook-in sauce) for the rest of us, with frozen leftover rice. 

It's very satisfying actually, I like those days.
