Common Reed

We took a day off to visit Leighton Moss RSPB reserve which was showing off its coppery common reed well in the sunlight today.  We went to all the hides with the best tick being a pair of avocets.  Lots of wee birds to see as well as waders, ducks and marsh harriers.
