Brightening up

Today's photo is of some tulips that I bought on Saturday to brighten up my living room, given that I felt rough...

Unfortunately, despite chopping the ends off when I bought them, and putting them in fresh water, they've started to wilt... Ironically, so did I today - for the first time in over 2 years, I had to come home early, sick! I feel much brighter now, after spending the whole afternoon asleep! Let's hope I'm well on the way to being over this cold!
