English Champagne? never....

Well, of course, we can't call it champagne but apparently, according to the lady in the wine store, it is our equivalent, grown and produced in the same way down in Cornwall (of all places).  Apparently the soil and climate etc. is very similar to the famous champagne area of France AND in "blind" tests this bubbly has been chosen over the "real thing".  Now that's nice isn't it!!
