Cold custard substitute !!

Had cafe dinner with old friend - the apple tart and custard  was delicious . We spent ages discussing the wonders of school meals  many years ago and cold custard . I decided to blip a tin on my return home . None in the larder !!!!!! Oh calamity !!!
So had to make do with the Solar system on the fridge !
