Hand Warming

Today has been gloriously sunny and once we got back from playgroup Ted spent all day in the garden with his diggers. He wouldn't even come in for lunch, though was eventually tempted by a tube of frozen fromage frais mid-afternoon. Well, it was almost ice-cream weather! But despite the sunshine the temperatures plummeted in the late afternoon so by the time I got him inside at about 5pm his nose was pink and his fingers frozen. Not that he seemed to notice or care of course! He enjoyed warming them by the fire with daddy though. I'm hoping all this fresh air will mean an early night and a good sleep... We can but dream eh?
