Britannia

The latest P & O floating block of flats, sorry, Cruise Liner, Britannia passed by the Island this morning on the way into Southampton ahead of it's official naming ceremony.


The 3600 passenger vessel is the largest cruise ship to be built for the British holiday market according to operator P & 0. The ship will be named by the Queen on March 10th. I wonder how she will compare it to her old Royal Yacht of the same name.

Personally I think these monstrosities are getting uglier and wild horses wouldn't get me on one.
