An excellent lunch with a friend in the National Gallery's restaurant. Fortunately, he picked up the rather large bill, and paid it too. Then a stroll around the gallery, so we could feel cultured as well as full, followed by a postprandial game of hide and seek. I'd lost an earring, and having checked in all the usual places (pockets, handbag, bra), I ended up retracing my steps. No joy, but the earring featured in MrJohn's blip of Feb 26th.
