That thing I was saying about Vang Vieng being slightly civilised? I take it back. It's all about the hedonism. There are drinks promotions which mean you can basically drink for free between 9pm and 11pm.

As a result, I spent most of the day recovering from the night before. I couldn't face tubing just yet.
