Do these colours really work together . . . ?

This bears closer scrutiny:   The vase seems volcanic, from the vibrant colour of molten lava at the base, through the steam and flung pieces in the middle and upwards into a beautiful blue sky.  The vibrant glossy pink of the anthuriums seems to form a ring, in some ways protecting the mauve coloured orchid spray.  The branches appear tossed and glued together upside down (the heavier stems sticking up, while supported by the smaller stems as they fell), while the sweeping flat green variegated leaves corral the orchids further.  Its balance is carefully contrived.   It fills me with joy !
