May Princess

13.3C with enough cloud to make it dull. Wind to 34 mph with gusts to 54 mph.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath before 9am and had our walk round the harbour. The tide was out and the lock gate to the inner harbour was closed so we could walk round in a loop. We did make a little detour to see if there was a boat on the boatyard slipway and there was. The May Princess, which can carry up to 100 passengers on trips from Anstruther to the Isle of May in the Firth of Forth, was on the slipway but there was no sign of any obvious work in progress. The sky was far too bland for an over the boatyard wall shot.

After lunch we went out for a two mile walk. Down the road to the shore, but not down to the beach today.
