Loch Muick

A lazy start to the day, eating bacon sandwiches and listening to music.

Hoping the weather would hold, we headed out to Loch Muick to trail some 8 miles round the circuit of the loch side. To say the wind was biting would be an understatement.

We stopped for lunch at Glas-allt Sheil, commissioned for Queen Victoria, before heading round on to the southern shore.

As we headed along the track we spotted a herd of stags, looking regal but thankfully calm as they waited to cross our path. Quite a sight to see close up.
