ok... not the blip I was going to bring you

but it's time for House of Cards and an early night and I wasn't really that keen on a photo of a new memory card and a spare battery anyway. This is Gizzie.  Good news - she wasn't actually licking my glasses, as I thought when I heard that "lap lap lap" sound. She was however licking the edge of the windowsill and I have no idea why.

Today I enrolled on the Open College of the Arts' Foundations in Photography course. I've Facebooked that news in two places today and it it still doesn't feel quite real. I'm looking forward to plenty of learning and some improved skills. Starting with Photoshop, which I need to learn for the course.
