Little explorers

Fab morning out at Wandlebury running up and down the chalk bank, tiddler picnic lunch in the sunshine out of the wind, some exploring in the woods, aconites, leaves and really big sticks, and some bonkers exploring of the banks of the ring ditch. Our little boy is definitely an adventurer - though Tom was gamely having a go too.

Post nap Matthew requested castles - sand castles - so we went to the park which was very busy and spent nearly an hour in the sandpit then on the swings, roundabout and slides. Not quite two and going down the big slide backwards. A fun day.

Mike's getting burned out on dealing with all the night wakings - when he took over we figured they'd drop off if there was no milk on offer but that hasn't really been the case. So starting tonight it's my turn again and we'll split the night shifts in a similar way to how we share bedtimes. Will have to see how it goes.
