Sabino Canyon

Went hiking today in Sabino canyon.  Thousands of saguaro cactus fill the canyon.  The saguaro lives for about 150 years. and doesn't grow it's first arm until its between 50 and 75 years old.  Although some grow to over 70 feet (20 meters) tall, a 10 year old cactus is only about as big as your thumb.
