Idlewild

Having deposited the weans with my folks it was off to Glasgow to meet up with the Hopes for a bite to eat and a few pints. Food was OK and the Joker on draught was a wee bonus before wandering round to the ABC. Shock when we got there was that the band were already on at half eight.... nothing on the ticket to say it was an early start... we must have missed that email. As it was they were on the second song so it wasn't that bad.

Band were excellent, good mix of the old with the new material, crowd were all happy. Headed out for a few more pints and then the usual last train good natured malarkey (apparently Noel Gallacher was very good at the Hydro, but the beer queues were unacceptable....). Managed to get off the train right at the taxis and nabbed the first one... sweet...  

Third gig in a week, time for a wee rest.
