The Kew Frieze

Spring was in the air today so Clare and I took off to Kew Gardens.

There is so much to like at Kew but one of my favourite things is the stunning wooden frieze in the main entrance building made of wood taken from the 1,000 trees that were blown down in the great storm of October 1987. Here's a detail from it.
