Sign of the Times

I daresay it has been repainted a few times but this sign (on Church Road in Leatherhead) has been around for over 200 years. George III was still on the throne (albeit with George IV as Regent). Victoria didn't become Queen until 1837. The coal merchants has long gone though. Its now a shop selling kit for cyclists and before that it sold fireplaces and the like.  Interesting brickwork above too - although that looks like it could do with a bit of TLC!
