More Glencoe drama

While we were in the mood we decided to go up to Glencoe - my visit on Thursday had whetted my appetite. It was a day of mixed weather, but changing quickly, so sunshine and blue skies would be blotted out with a hailstorm, then back to fluffy clouds. I much prefer this sort of weather for photographs.

We had lunch in the NTS Glencoe Visitor Centre - staff discount! -  and drove up the Glen and through the village. Nothing much open this early in the year, but quite a few people out and about in the Glen - walkers and climbers mostly. After a while we went back to the VC and had a look at the exhibition and shop, had a quick cuppa and came home.

As always I have to pick one picture, so here's a photograph of the lovely falls on the River Coe, just below the junction of the main road with the old single track road which leads down to the village. Quite dramatic, as were the other falls in the Glen.
