Liver Birds

We visited the high spots of Liverpool with a cousin of Mr Flum's, starting with a climb ride in the lifts up the tower of the cathedral, with its splendid views of the surrounding area, then a spot of lunch by the recently developed Albert Dock, before a wander down past the Royal Liver Building to see HMS Lancaster in port.

There is so much grand architecture that is difficult to select a single photo, but I could not resist the unmistakable image of a Liver Bird
