Seaside Picnic

The sea at Johnshaven was very rough today, waves were crashing over the harbour wall and up onto the road next to the harbour entrance.

These two ladies were undeterred and proceeded to have a picnic lunch. As can be seen they are dressed for the weather and covered from head to foot in weatherproof clothing.

I had parked just in behind the bench on which they were sitting. Such was the noise of the sea they didn't notice I was immediately behind them until they had finished lunch and got up to leave.
