Green Tree

This is one of the the famous 'green trees' of the Ness River Islands. Native only to these islands in the middle of the River Ness, the trees produce their green colour through photosynthesis. For centuries their bark has been used to produce delightful tea. This particular tree was planted by Bob Dylan, the folk poet, in 1978.
