Ruffled feathers

Glorious weather, a sense of well-being should follow.
Cut to Bushy Park car park and glinting alloy; drivers trying to find spaces; drivers trying to get out; windows down, music blaring, faces scarlet with rage and frustration "What the frangipane are ya doing?" Indeed men and women showing no respect or restraint or patience letting off ugly steam, more often with their car laden with children, watching. And we wonder at the 2011 riots and stuff.
Another incongruity was the merry throng of picnickers with their blankets laid out a few feet from the cars ... ??
I almost ran in to the greenness, to be lost from the car beeping humanity. And within minutes serenity was restored. There were ducks resting in the cool of long grass, deer basking under shady trees, and then this swan happily attending his ablutions whilst his companion and cygnet hid in the nearby reeds.
