A Victorian Obsession

Well thats what the poster said. This was a truly awesome exhibition. The Perez Simon collection of pre-raphaelite paintings is stunning and not often seen. For a collection of Victorian paintings there is a lot of naked flesh on display but all done in the best possible taste :)
The exhibition was displayed in the unique and fabulous Leighton House, once the home of Frederick Leighton (artist) from Scarborough. The house is sumptuously decorated with an Arabian entrance hall that is straight out of the Arabian Nights. This afternoon was certainly a magic carpet ride.
