Spring Sprung A Leak

After all the loveliness of yesterday, it reverted to grey and rain today.  However there was some colour to be found.

I've been thinking about drivers today.  It appears to me that they must have a quota system here.  I reckon every fifth driver who passes their test gets taken to one side and told "Congratulations on passing your test - you've been selected to be the legally required Arschloch.  Please enjoy driving irresponsibly and paying no heed to other drivers and pedestrians.  Keep it up for 5 years and you'll be given a Mercedes - and with a Mercedes you can enjoy the inbuilt right of way that it confers and you can keep driving like a total Arschloch".  

It has to be something like that.  It makes it easier for me to understand when a driver drives through a pedestrian crossing when it's green for pedestrians and almost takes me out.  Poor Arschloch was probably on his mobile or doing something else really important like thinking what a brilliant driver he was.

And yes I may have uttered the Arschloch word a little louder than is the norm.  You might have heard me in Mainz.
