Burton Dassett 365

A trip out to Burton Dassett looking for a viewpoint onto the 'pork pie' and the landscape beyond.  I quite like the view,  but I'm not sure about the light, or the processing.  As the sun was nearing the horizon a patch of cloud obscured it and any modelling in the hills promptly scarpered.

Burton Dassett features in this delightful 1955 cycling film, around 10:42 although the 'road' is now sealed and most people ride up rather than walk. 

Given that I uploaded a few images from the archive before my first genuine blip I make this one my real 365th ;-)
