Fund Raising

Matt the Hat organised a concert locally in one of our churches and today gave the funds raised to the Treasurer to pay in to the Renovation Costs for the Almshouse Colonnade.  About £100k is needed in total so it is going to be a long haul but as Almshouses have been a huge part of Barnstaple's way of providing housing for the needy it is essential to save it/repair it. It seems that as the Almshouses are lived in the Lottery and English Heritage can't help....
