The Two Towers

The two chimneys to be precise, of Cockenzie Power Station. Landmarks in East Lothian since the 1950s, they are to be demolished this summer following the power station's decommissioning. Demolition of the site is well under way. It highlights the worryingly increasing shortage of generating capacity in Britain that successive governments and profit hungry energy companies have failed to address. 
In other news, I am taking a step back from Polaroid Blipfoto. Have said this a few times in the past but this time I really have to. Am going to miss seeing your photos and reading your journals. Will still post at least once a week and I'll try to comment when I'm logged in. Best wishes to all Lego-Polaroid-Blipfoto-buddies, you're awesome :-)
