The elusive owl

I learned today that it pays to be kind to others.

I knew that there were owls living near me, but I had yet to see any.  Last night I started chatting with a stranger who was walking his dog and he saw my camera.

Unasked by me, he brought up the topic of owls and asked if I wanted to see where one was nesting.  Clearly I agreed.

Here is the elusive owl sitting on her nest.
