Crane Fly

I was out in the garden this morning when I saw what looked like a giant mosquito but after checking Mr. Google I think it is a Crane Fly.

I had a busy day including working on the deck plus doing garden maintenance for a friend and her neighbour. 

I went to the dentist with a lump on my gum.  He said, "Bad news, I had better x-ray!"  After the x-ray he said, "Bad news, you have a dead tooth."  I replied with, "Oh, that's OK."  You see, my mum had a carcinoma on the gun that ended up requiring major surgery.  Thought it interesting how news is quite relative.
