Gently down the stream

A passionate man

Today I met Haydn, dressed in a Superman outfit with a bright red hood and jumping about by the carfax in City Road.  He was asking drivers to hoot for children's rights so I stopped to talk to him.  It turned out that the root of his campaigning was that he hadn't seen his children for 8 years.  I said, 'So you're Fathers For Justice' and he said, no, he was New Fathers for Justice.  F4J have apparently hooked up with UKIP, who he described as 'bin juice' (I'll leave you to interpret).

However, the other side of his placard said something about standing up to evil and the huge banner he'd tied to the railings outside Eagle Court had a number of other campaign messages on it (stop fracking, etc).

Handy Haydn (that is his name, though the Handy bit is new) is looking forward to when his sciatica is better and he's off benefits so he'll be able to have business cards with the legend Handy Haydn, kitchens fitted.  Needless to say, after that my visit to the dentist was a doubly boring affair..

Mid week.  From now on it's downhill all the way to Friday  xx
